desk.com integration

Does anyone have experience setting up a desk.com integration to pull support ticket information into gainsight? My understanding is that the desk data needs to be integrated into Salesforce, and then from Salesforce to Gainsight. Any insights are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Candace, you are correct.  The easiest way to proceed is to install the Desk to Salesforce.com integration.  https://support.desk.com/customer/en/portal/articles/749107-integrate-desk-com-with-salesforce-com  Once that integration is in place, any Desk.com object that has either a Lookup or Master-Detail relationship to the Account will be accessible via the Gainsight Rules Engine.

Hi there! Should we plan to do the "light integration" or the full "Desk Connect" integration?

Based on some research, the light integration seems to be sufficient.
