Currently, global dashboard filters won't work when we have reports built off different MDA objects in the same dashboard, even though we have same filters originating from the same source.

Lack of this functionality, trending to multiple dashboards.
Customer word "It is time consuming for developers, and confusing to end users with multiple dashboards"

Do we have any plan to address this feature request in near future?

Thanks for posting this on the forum. We have requirements to build dashboards to track the different product performances, with filters around the Account:Region and Account:Division. The dashboard level filters doesn't work in our case as we have reports coming from different MDA objects on to the dashboard, even though the MDA objects have SFDC Account lookup and provide common unlocked filters to all the reports. In the absence of this functionality, we are forced to design multiple dashboards for each Account:Region and Account:Division.
Please add this to the roadmap, if it isn't included yet.

Is there any plan on addressing this in the near-term roadmap?

Is there any plan to put this into action?  I've got a customer that would get a ton of use out of this ability.

We were forced to switch to MDA with scorecards 2.0 and it has wreaked havoc on all of our dashboards.  Anything with a global filter is now broken.

Can we get a response from the product team please?

Tons of improvements in global filters on dashboards with the Summer release which drops next week - Sept 5. This will enable a lot more flexibility around global filters.

Check out the draft release notes here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B97XQutn6k0oRnBpYl9FV2FyOWs/view

Page 11 is where the enhancements to global dashboards are covered.
