Resizing the string fields in C360

Related products:CS C360 & R360 & P360

At the moment, we cannot resize the String fields on the new C360 layout, this feature is only available for the Rich text fields. With Rich text fields having the limitation of not being used in the filters is a huge disadvantage.

This is a disappointing limitation because it affects URL fields too. We have a URL field that would fit perfectly if we were able to expand the field in the attributes section, but instead we’re stuck with the default setting.

@achamaria totally agreed! I didn’t see your post before posting mine, these can be merged then:

I did notice that increasing the size of a string field is available now in the C360 but only up to two container sizes is the maximum extension (having 1 string field attribute take up 2 attribute places). You also can only expand it horizontally in width, not vertically in height.

Also, note that this increase is only available in an Attributes configuration page and not on the CSM Summary configuration page in an Attributes container/widget. Another miss.

Thanks for pointing that out @sarahmiracle. I didn’t realize that ability existed in the C/R360 attributes. However, I’d like to see it extended to other types of fields, specifically URLs.

I stand corrected! Looks like I can resize up to 4 container sizes 🙌🏻
