Gainsight's Summer (v5.9) release is live in your orgs. We've prepared a variety of resources to help Admins and end users understand and make use of the new features:

There's a short delay in releasing the new in-app guides and guide center in customer orgs. They should be visible by tomorrow at the latest.

Hi Lila - is it possible to configure these guides dependent on the Gainsight license? i.e. non-Gainsight Admins probably would not need a walkthrough on Advanced Outreach. 
It's an interesting suggestion, Jeff, but I'm not sure it's possible. We don't track each user or their license type in our SFDC instance, and in Gainsight they just have a permission set. We aren't passing permission set data from Gainsight to Pendo (our in-app guide software) at this time. But we have asked users to self-identify their roles in a poll. We intend to use the roles to target guides to specific user types in the future.
This is important from an operational perspective Lila.  If end users (non-admins) see these notifications of new features it can flood Operations with a lot of questions and requests about them, when the feature may not be relevant to the user.





Additionally, even if the feature [i]would be relevant to the end user,  by notifying end users of these new features directly in the app, you could cause a flood of questions and requests to come into the Ops team which may not yet be ready or have the bandwidth to implement or support.





While in-app notification is a very cool feature, Gainsight Admins should be allowed to control what notifications are relevant to their end users and the timing of such, otherwise you risk causing issues for the Ops team.
