We’re excited to announce that we have enabled Engagement, Self-service, and Product Feedback Dashboards in the new version!

As we prepare to roll out these dashboards to all our customers, your feedback is crucial. Please take a moment to explore the new added Dashboards and share any insights you might have, as a reply to this post. Your input will help us make necessary improvements before the official launch.

Thank you for being an integral part of our community. We’re eager to hear your thoughts!

Please note there are some expected differences between the old and new Dashboards

Engagement Dashboard

  1. Event Count Discrepancy: There is a minor difference in the number of events captured by the new dashboard compared to the old dashboard. This may lead to discrepancies in view-related metrics, affecting all KPIs within the Engagement Dashboard.

  2. Total Active Companies Calculation: We have corrected a query in the new dashboards that calculates total active companies with customer status, impacting every metric.

  3. Pageview Event Calculation: The old dashboards utilize simple pageview events to determine view activity, whereas the new dashboards retroactively assign past pageview events to users based on the same session ID. This results in significantly more past view activity being linked to users, which may create notable differences between the two dashboard versions.

Product Feedback Dashboard

  1. Metrics Adjustments: In the old dashboard, most metrics do not account for idea reset and idea merge events, while the new dashboard does.

  2. Topic Conversions: The old dashboard does not track topic conversions, whereas the new dashboard does. In the new version, when a topic converts to an idea, all its likes become votes, which can lead to significant differences in dashboard metrics.

  3. Activity Attribution: In the old dashboards, if a user performs an activity (e.g., voting on an idea), the activity is credited to their current company. In the new dashboards, it is attributed to the company the user belonged to at the time of the action.

  4. Voting Records: There is a significant difference in how idea votes are modeled. The old dashboard tracks all votes for each idea daily, while the new dashboards maintain records only of the current vote count. This affects all KPIs related to votes.

  5. View-related Differences: Similar to the Engagement Dashboard, differences exist in the number of pageview events recorded between the old and new dashboards, compounded by the old dashboards' use of simple pageviews to attribute views to companies.
