We would like to be able to have one Article in Community tied to multiple categories.For example, if we have one document about Topic A we’d like to be able to say that document should show in Product 1, category 1; Product 2, category 1.Currently to have the same content in both places means we have to duplicate content, which makes management of content (to keep everything current) a nightmare.Please let me know if I need to clarify this idea further.

When posting topics in a KB and surfacing them in the Featured Topics widget (as part of the new KB landing page), the presentation seems odd to me.Here’s an example:As you can see in this example, the content displays the title of the article (or of the question/conversation), some of the initial text, the user icon, the date the content was published, the number of views, and the number of comments.In my view, KB content works best when it communicates when it was last updated, not when it was published. And it makes little sense to display the number of comments when the article is not open to comments. So here’s some specific changes I’d like to suggest unique to content published in the knowledgebaseWhere the content says 2 months ago this is the publish date, replace this with the date last updated. So if I made a change to this article today (which I did) it should display the date last updated. For example, it could read as “Updated today” (if today) or “Updated X days ago” if

It’d be nice to be able to move and spin off replies from Product Updates in the same way we can move replies from other threads into their own posts or other posts. 

Is there a way to add a place in the Ask & Search section of Staircases save and house presubmitted questions?

There are certain features not used in Staircase AI for our business. One of the examples is Chats. I see this in our Sort & Column Topics. Also, when the weekly automated email goes out to the teams this shows up. Would it be possible to disable certain topics etc that are not being used so avoid confusion or show 0 usage?

History tracking data is important for  trend analysis/ forecasting. But, there could be some objects where we are required to maintain just the snapshot data. For example in standard objects like Company/ User or any custom objects – In Company, when did the CSM change or what was the previous ARR? As of today, we do not have the luxury of keeping historic changes in Gainsight but with the help of rules/ objects we can still accomplish this.   For demonstration – I’ve created the object ‘Kite Info’, which is loaded around 7am daily. Schema as follows, {*Kite Id(String); Kite Name(String); Kite Date (Date); Kite Value (Number); Kite Location (String) } *Kite Id is the identifier field. I’ve created a backup object that has only those fields which require history tracking(along with the Identifier) – ‘Kite Info Bkp’. This object is loaded 10am daily. But, for the first time – data from ‘Kite Info’ is loaded once ‘Kite Info Bkp’ is created. {*Kite Id(String); Kite Date (Date) ;

The filter options in certain areas of Staircase do not follow the user after clicking through and then the report shows the information for whole company again not the one that was filtered to (ex. Filter to X company then click on a heat map in the Topics report and all companies are showing) Can we get it to lock your filter selection? 

On the Executive Dashboard in Staircase AI can the data showing for Engaged Accounts, & Engaged Owners be shown as a percentage of the total account base? 

We have a lot of Dropdown lists being populated by Rules and data from an integrated system. We would like the ability to allow the Rules to create new Dropdown List values rather than fail if one is not mapped. Example: Countries & StatesOur Country & State lists includes characters that aren’t allowed in Gainsight, including apostrophes. We constantly sell to new Countries and States. This means we need to add dropdown values almost daily. We have never been able to find a full list we can upload through excel. Somehow, values are always missing. We would like the ability to let the Rule create the new Dropdown List values for us as they appear.  

We love the existing functionality that allows timeline activities from child accounts to roll up into the parent account's timeline — this has been a great step toward giving our teams a complete picture of account health across hierarchies. We'd love to see this same rollup behavior extended to the AI Cheat Sheet.The ask: When viewing a parent account, the AI Cheat Sheet should synthesize and surface highlights from all child accounts within the hierarchy, not just the parent account itself.Why this matters: For teams managing complex, multi-subsidiary accounts, this would:Reduce context-switching — ICs and Leaders get a full account narrative from a single view Improve executive briefings — quickly understand health and activity across an entire account family without manual aggregation Support proactive risk identification — spot trends across child accounts before they escalateToday, our team is manually piecing together insights across child accounts before every customer meeting

Like it is possible to customize the layout of the main landing page and custom pages it would be great to be able to customize the user experience in each community section and category.

I’m working on a digital engagement journey (JO) which contains an embedded report in an email with a report that contains date fields.Everything’s fine when building. It displays per our locale preferences. And come email testing time. The date is displayed in US format in the email: mm/DD/yyyy. Needless to say that:The US format is NOT universal (it is used by a vast minority of countries) dd/MM/yyyy seems to be used across the majority of countries yyyy/MM/dd (and variants with hyphens) is the most universally understandable format, and happens to be, in its hyphenated format, the INTERNATIONAL STANDARD (ISO 8601) The US format is problematic whenever the day (dd) ranges from calendar day 1-12 (which can be confused with the month (mm)). How do you know what day and month the following date really is: 03/04/2026 ? Is it the 3rd of April or the 4th of March? So we have a product that forces the date format of a minority into reports that are embedded in JO emails. I am puzzled by the

Didn’t see this posted anywhere, but there seems to be no way to get notified if a Real Time Rule fails for any reason. It makes me extremely wary of using Real Time Rules if I have no way to get notified when something goes wrong.  In fact, no feature that relies on automation should GA unless there is a way to be notified when it fails for any reason. 

We use moderation tags to identify topics for various feedback loops. The tags are added to topics by our moderation team as they handle the topics. However, due to the lack of auto-complete (and zero traction for the idea for that), we have numerous misspelled versions of each tag.  There is no way for us to do a clean-up of these misspelled versions and remove them. Even after changing the misspelled tag to the correct one, the misspelled version remains present in the filter list. And as such I keep having to check if it has been actually been given to a topic or is still just an empty remnant. You can have customer service clean out the unused tags, but it would be much easier if we can eitherclean-up tags ourselves make it so that unused tags get autodeleted

We have a clearly-defined series of moderator tags that we use for various purposes. Although we don't have a huge list, it can be difficult to remember the exact format of the tag. For example, is it life-sciences, life-sci, life_sci etc. It would be really helpful if the platform would autocomplete or offer suggestions for these tags when you're typing them in, based on the tags which have been applied before. I think this could be useful for public tags as well so people all use the same one instead of getting several variations of the same thing.
