How is your team structured?

Hi everyone,

I hope you agree when I say that training works best when it's not a solo effort.

Even if you're the primary person building in Skilljar, there are a few key people worth identifying early, because you'll need them at different points in your journey.

  • Dashboard Administrator: Who else needs dashboard access to create, edit, or keep an eye on things? Probably you plus one or two others.
  • Subject Matter Experts (SMEs): The people who know your product inside out. They may never log into Skilljar, but you'll need them when building course content. Identify 2–3 now.
  • Internal Champion: Someone who can advocate for the training programme to leadership and other teams. Makes a difference when it's time to promote and report.
  • Marketing Contact: Who owns your brand? Getting assets early saves a lot of back-and-forth later.

Now I’d love to hear from you👇🏼:

  • What function do you sit under (CS, Support, Marketing, L&D, Product, something else)?
  • Have you identified your SMEs and internal champions yet?
  • Any surprises so far ? Roles you didn't expect to need involved?
