What are you building? Tell us about your training program 👇

Hi everyone,

One of the best parts of building in a community is realizing you're not alone, and that other people are navigating the exact same decisions and milestones you are.

So let's start here:

  • What are you building right now?

  • What's your initial goal for building a training program?

  • Who are your learners?

  • What does success look like for you in the next 90 days?

We’d love to hear from you! 🙂

    Hi everyone,

We are Skilljar newbies (Netsmart) and excited to learn from this group as we build and refine our programs.

We’re currently working on a client learning and enablement model designed to support implementation readiness. The goal is to bring together digital learning (via Skilljar) and in-app support (via PX) so clients can access learning when they need it, not just as a one-time training event with our Consulting team.

Our initial goal is to help clients build confidence earlier in the implementation process. If we can better prepare our learners on core concepts, workflows and role-based responsibilities, we believe consulting conversations can become more focused, productive and value-driven.

Our learners include a mix of client stakeholders (including clinical, billing, operational and system administrator type roles). We’re also thinking about how our digital experience supports our consulting teams by reducing repetitive foundational education (that takes up billable hours!) and creating more consistent learner readiness (our clients can make decisions faster with confidence!).

In the next 90 days we will be officially on the Skilljar platform & success looks like this:

    • Testing the onboarding framework with an initial pilot group of 7 clients
    • Understanding where training fits best in the implementation lifecycle
    • Learning which resources drive the most engagement and readiness
    • Capturing feedback from both learners and internal consulting project teams
    • Defining what should be improved before scaling more broadly in Q4/beg of 2027

We are looking forward to learning from this group!!!

    @sh7017

    Hi Sarah!

    Thank you for sharing!
Really excited to see how this evolves for you. This community is a great place to pressure-test ideas, ask questions, and learn from others who've been through similar journeys. Welcome aboard! 🙌

I’m curious to know -  given the mix of roles you're supporting (clinical, billing, ops, admin), are you building role-specific learning paths from the start or keeping it more general initially and refining from there?

    Where focus goes, energy flows.

re: mix of roles (clinical, billing, ops, admin)

    1. We built a general onboarding learning path & assessment to start the client project team (clinical, billing, ops, admin) all off together learning the same fundamentals
    1. We are now building role-specific learning paths -- starting with our most engaged persona, System Admins.  Our Sys Admins will have specific learning paths and certifications to complete before their maintenance training event in the project.  We plan to use this role-specific framework and create the same role-specific for clinical and billing personas as well.

    Welcome, Netsmart team!  🎉

Your model sounds really well thought out, especially the focus on shifting learning from a one-time event to something clients can access throughout implementation. That kind of "just in time" approach tends to make a big difference in learner confidence and consulting efficiency.

Looking forward to hearing how the pilot goes. 🚀 Feel free to post questions here as you go. We are all rooting for you and would love to hear how it unfolds!
