Hello, in this post I am explaining how to calculate the anniversary dates based on existing date field in an object using Rules Engine. Here is the link to the document

Below are the few use cases where this might be helpful.

  1. To follow-up on account’s renewal.

  2. To send NPS surveys every 6 months to customers.

  3. To create CTA for EBR set-up every 6 months

  4. To send customers a survey after 6 months of onboarding to know customer feedback.

The shown example doesn’t take into account the leap year (when February’s length varies)

Also, the year used in the example is a leap year (2020) and February had 29 days, giving the number of days for February to be 182 (not 181) in the shown calculation.

This also needs the First day of the year to be calculated after the contract’s current year.

In other words, we’d need a dynamic field instead of the static “01/01/2020”

For May it’s 184, not 185

may 31 + june 30 + july 31 + aug 31 + sept 30 + oct 31 = 184
