Hey there!

We’ve created a custom page where we’d like to host the question feed of a particular sub forum. Is this possible at all?

The closest thing I’ve found is to add the Tab widget, but it seems like you’re unable to customize that to only display questions from a specific sub forum. There doesn’t seem to be any way of filtering the recently active or help others feed.

Any other ideas?

This used to not be possible, but I believe enhancements to the Dynamic Content Widget make this (mostly) possible.

The functionality is a bit hidden, but you can customize it to show a list of X topics from a specific category forum once you un-select non-forum content types (Ideas and Product Updates). After you do that, you should see a “Published In” field where you can specify certain forum(s) to pull from.

It looks like you can also filter by specific Public Tags! And other attributes.

Now, the display options won’t quite look the same as a feed. You’re limited to a list view or a card view. But the list view is at least close to a feed.

Your use case of a custom feed is the most common request re: custom pages since they launched. IMO it’s still not perfect, but this is a lot closer than “no option” or using the Tabs widget.

Amazing @DannyPancratz 😎

Much appreciated!
