I’m looking for some guidance with embedding the Community widget into Skilljar. I am working with my colleague on our Academy team and we were having trouble figuring out where to put the code. 

  1. I added the domain as an approved domain
  2. She posted the code in the source code for the lesson 

Does the lesson have to first be published?  With acquiring Skilljar, do you have some guidance for us?

Hi ​@cstrange - it’s definitely doable.  I’m checking with the teams on some of the deeper details (I’m not familiar with Skilljar myself yet).  One thing I heard from the team already is that you can post the embeddable widget code in the Skilljar theme rather than the lesson code itself.  I’ll get back to you with more guidance asap.

Hi ​@cstrange - Yes apologies for the delay, I’m pinging the team that was looking into this.  They tested and also ran into a challenge with getting it to render in the UI.

And one more follow-up ​@cstrange - I’m afraid that it looks like we’re blocked here at the moment and I don’t have an ETA.  It might take some time.  I will follow-up as soon as I hear something.

Hey ​@cstrange - this has taken some time, but I can now share that our engineering team has fixed the issue we had identified and that you should now be able to add the embeddable widget within Skilljar. If you run into anything else, just let us know.  :)
