please tell me that I am wrong, but from what I can tell, with the new GS community using Algolia embedded,

  1. I am told there is no reporting or analytics except for Google Analytics.
  2. There is no admin panel for Algolia on GS community 
  3. There is no ability to tune relevance for search in the GS community

@Alistair FIeld   I found this  on replacing Algolia with another search. 

Has this capability progressed any since a year ago?

I wrote this article on the search with the platform.

 

I would not say anything has changed, but improved search is in products vision.

As you can imagine lots of work with generative AI being done as well.
