Are notifications when moving content to new category working?

Hey,

Whenever I am moving content to a new category I always get this pop-up that warns me that subscribed users will be notified about the content being moved to the new category, but I am not sure it is working. My users who is subscribed to everything does not get notified, I've also tried with a non-admin user and that one doesn't get notified either…

I would like subscribers to be notified especially when I am moving a misplaced post… otherwise the chances for the post to be receiving attention are reduced...

It’s definitely looking like a bug. Neither bulk action nor single post is sending out notifications.

Could you please raise a support ticket for this? I’m also gonna do the same cause we are seeing the same on our community here.

You are right - I tested it out and I’m not seeing any notifications go out either.

From what I recollect, we used to get a notification of a new post when posts get moved between categories. I’m not too sure on what’s happening here.

I’m gonna double check with the team internally and come back to you on this.

So actually, after discussing this with support I learned it was removed

Yes, you are right.

Seems to be a fix miss here and support said they can look into it.
