Can I add a Topic banner on one specific page only?

The Topic banner currently seems to be shared across all Community pages. Is it possible to add a similar banner to only one page, e.g., Product Ideas?

Howdy @Jef Vanlaer ,

The main Topic Banner is intended to be global across the Community for “big” announcements or anything else you want everyone to know about and be highly visible.

If you’re looking for one a little less overpowered, the Featured Topic widget can be applied to just single pages or categories (or as many as you want), meaning it’d be highly visible on those pages but nowhere else.

Hope that helps!

And just to add what @Blastoise186 has said above, the Ideas page is totally customizable so you have many options there in terms of widgets and layout.

@Blastoise186 @Kenneth R The main thing I like about the Topic Banner is its simplicity: one color background (that pops out), small banner and just 1 topic. I can’t seem to get that done with the Featured Topic widget for example, but I guess something similar is possible by adding an html widget.

You probably could do it that way if you wanted to. It’s really more that it’s two different widgets for two different purposes.

Yep you could create something similar with HTML.  Another alternative would be to add some (slightly hacky) script to hide the Topic Banner on all pages apart from that one page, but then you lose the option of using that widget on all the other pages (and it’s a very handy one!).
