Hi again!
When on the Create new topic page, how can we make the Product Area not an option but a mandatory field? I couldn’t see a page on Control that gives me control on what shows up on the Create new topic space -- is it behind something else?

At this time, it’s not possible to make the Product area a mandatory field, unless there is some kind of custom CSS that can be entered on the page. I would recommend creating an idea about it.
