It is important to me as a Community Manager that I receive a notification email as soon as a new member signs up for a private group. I can't check every day to see if new people are signing up. That doesn't work.

There is currently no option to receive notification emails when a new member signs up for a private group - unfortunately that currently requires manual checking on an interval.

I came across this question and thought that there is still no option to receive notification e-mails. Few search later, I found this Product Update - Get notified about request to join a private group posting it so it is up to date.
