We are planning a member recognition event and plan to give awards to about 50 community members.  We want to @mention the members being recognized so that they will get a notification about the post. Is there a limit to the number of members that can be @mentioned in a single post? I have run into this on other platforms, so just wanted to check if it applies here.  On platforms with a limit, I usually had to spread out the mentions into separate comments.  Thanks in advance!

Hey @emiller

You should be good to have 50 mentions/tags in the post.

I’d highly suggest testing it out on your sandbox first though before taking it LIVE.

Thanks @revathimenon I was not able to test it as we don’t have that many users in our sandbox, but I was able to mention 47 people in an article and didn’t run into any issues, in case anyone else comes across this in the future!  In my previous experience working with the Salesforce community, I recall there is actually a 20 person limit on mentions, which was really annoying for me as a community manager - I had to spread them across the main post and multiple comments as a workaround.  Score 1 point for Gainsight on that!

That’s great to hear @emiller :)
