Editing permissions for primary roles

Not sure if I am missing something but is there a way to edit the permissions of some primary roles?

I would like to give the permission to registered users to edit their posts for 60 mins after posting, as we can do for custom roles. Is this possible?

Hey @beneditacss,

I’m afraid that’s not possible to change - the permissions for the primary roles are “fixed”. You can see more information about the primary roles permissions here:

In order to give the permission to registered users to edit their posts for 60 mins after posting, you’d have to set up a custom role for those users.

I’d suggest posting this as an idea to see if it gathers votes and gains traction within the community ?
