Hi all, I want to emulate what GS has on its Community landing page. Does anyone know what widget this is? Is it the HTML one?

Yes, it’s an HTML widget.
I took a look using my browser’s Developer Tools (Inspect option on a right click) and I can tell from the code it’s an html widget
