Enable Announcement Card on Knowledge Base Category Pages

Just to check, what do you mean by Announcement Card? Is it a featured post row or a banner? 😊

I mean the Announcement Card shown in the General Sidebar. It's the widget that displays the topic featured with the moderator tag featured_side. 🙂

I generally find the announcement cards so confusing - sometimes they work and sometimes they don’t! I agree with your idea here though.

Currently, the Announcement Card isn't supported on Knowledge Base category pages since those pages have a hardcoded sidebar - but there might be a workaround, I’ll do some digging internally on this and I’ll let you know as soon as I know more 😊

Are you looking to add the Announcement Card to a specific KB category page, or across all KB category pages globally?

Asking because we just shipped an update that may already cover the first scenario, KB category pages are no longer hardcoded and you can now add widgets from the library, including to the sidebar, per page through the Layout Editor. If it's the global case you're after, that's something we'd want to understand better.

Thanks for the update. Our requirement is to display the Announcement Card across all Knowledge Base category pages globally rather than configuring it individually per category page.

Could you please confirm whether there is a way to apply the Announcement Card globally to all KB category pages?
