Events Timezone

I've had some problems setting up event times as we have people in different time zones. It seems confusing to me and when configured for some the date and time display appear incorrect, could this be related to the timezone of the user's browser? How does this work?
Don't we have the option of standardized times like EST, BRT, CST, etc.?

Hi @L.L I think because in your example, it shows 12am - 1am Detroit time. No one in that area is going to attend a webcast at midnight...unless I am missing something

Seems like you might be asking this question for CC and not the CS product?

This indeed looks like a CC question, will go ahead and move it to that category.  :)

Hi @L.L - When you create an event you can set the time according to a particular timezone.  The actual time displayed for the end-user is going to be dependent on their timezone.  So for example, if you determine a webinar is starting at 9am PST / Los Angeles time and configure it like that, a viewer in EMEA or India would see the start time translated to their own timezone.  Can you share an example of this not displaying correctly?  Is there a way to replicate that?

Of course!
For example, in this event I set the time to be 12pm to 1pm (America/Detroit), as we don't have the option to select PST.

For me, who is in Brazil, I see the image below (it's coherent), but someone who is located in Ohio (US), sees a completely wrong time.

@L.L Yes indeed, as @Chris Hackett says, I think this is because you’ve set it to start at 12am instead of 12pm.
