That’s a great idea. I don’t think it is possible with badges at the moment, but it should work when you use the ranks. You could set up a rank that superusers can “level up” into and when they reach this level, you give them a new user role which in return makes new categories available to them.

So you would need to:

• create a new custom user role
• set up a new category and limit the access to only this custom user role
• add a new rank that only the superusers can achieve and grant the new custom user role to every user who reaches this rank

I don’t think that’s an option as such right now, but there might be a workaround for it. What you might be able to do, is set the criteria for the badge and rank to be the same as each other, so they both fire at the same time.

As far as I’m aware, badges aren’t directly hooked up to roles/ranks so they can’t award each other. But I love the idea as well. If you’re able to, feel free to suggest it over at https://community.insided.com/ideas :)
