Hi all,

We are in the first month of using Gainsight for our community and also just completed our large in person customer conference. Our community site is private (gated) and we are embedding the conference session recordings. We are also looking to upload a PDF version of each session’s decks, but want to ensure that our members are not able to download them.

I am struggling to find a solution that would allow for this. Has anyone done something like this before or have a tip?

Rather than a file upload, you probably want to embed the slides.

this article is quite old and I’m not sure if it’s up-to-date

I put the list from that article into ChatGPT to ask if any of them embed PDFs and this is what it said:

From the list you provided, **Scribd** is the most likely platform that allows you to embed a PDF directly.

**WordPress** also allows for embedding PDFs if you're using a plugin or the built-in media features.

If you're looking for other options, many platforms like **Canva** can create shareable links or embed options for documents, but they may not directly embed PDFs in the same way as Scribd.

Appreciate the insight, Danny. Thankfully, our ELT has changed the direction and decided to allow for the decks to be downloadable.

Cheers!

edit: didn’t mean to mark my own response as the best answer. Attempted to mark Danny’s as the best.
