I know this thread is related to API but closely follows what I was attempting to pull right now in my exported CSV. [mod edit: moved this question into a new topic]
Exported a CSV for all topics for the month and wanted to group by content type - Ideas - then drill into Product Areas but didn’t see a field for this. I presume it’s also related to why there isn’t an endpoint for this field in the API as well.. Can you confirm

When you’re taking a topics export, you indeed won’t find the Product Areas. For ideas, the best export to work with is found when you go to Platform > Ideation > Data Export. This export doesn’t have a selectable date range, so it will always give you the full list of ideas, but you can filter and sort by the idea creation date. Most importantly, this export includes the Product Areas, Idea Status, and the date of the last Idea Status change.
