Hello! I’m working on setting up SEO within my companies community forum. I have followed many different directions to set up GSC and have yet to receive verification. I would like to confirm that GSC is possible with Gainsight CC? There is limited information out there on this and would love to hear others experiences when trying to set this up.

If the Community site is open to the internet (log in not required), then you could use the HTML tag method described in this Google documentation to verify the site. You would follow the steps in the doc, and in Step 4, you’ll be using the CC Customize > Third Party Scripts > Header section to paste the applicable google-site-verification element.
It’s important to note though that this requires the community site to be accessible without logging in.
If the community site requires authentication/log in, then I’m 99% sure you’ll need to use the DNS method to verify site ownership. I’m also not clear what the residual value of Search Console would be on an authenticated site, since the indexing won’t be authenticated.
