Insided Connector for Workato - Sandbox setup?

I am trying to set up a connection between Workato and Gainsight CC Sandbox to automate some things.  When I tried to set up a connection, it gave me this error:

Does this thing still work, and can it be used to connect to cc sandbox?

The AI Answers search said that this connector can only be used in production, but that sounds crazy to me!  Has anyone tried this?

    ​@SimonH  is right! In Workato set up an HTTP connection using OAuth 2 (client credentials grant), plug in your CC Client ID and Secret from Control, and use https://api2-us-west-2.insided.com/oauth2/token as the token URL (eu-west-1 if you're on EU). Once connected you have full access to the CC API from Workato, so you can trigger recipes off community events via webhooks, pull user data, manage roles, create or update posts, sync data to other tools like Salesforce, pretty much anything the CC API supports. Works for both sandbox and prod, just swap in the right credentials for each.

    ​@emiller I wasn’t sure how current the Insided connector for Workato was, so I just made a custom connector in Workato. That makes it sound fancier than it is – it’s just adding the API credentials in a form in Workato. Has worked fine for both Sandbox and Prod. 

    I’ve been neck deep in Workato, if you ever want to collaborate/commiserate :)
