Is there a standardized standard automatic logout time?

Hi, sometimes my users log in to our community and and then are logged out automatically after a few days. I was just wondering if there is a general standard timeframe in which this happens?

E.g. Login → no visit within 7 days → Automatic Logout

Or does it depend from user to user, based on their browser settings, behavior, etc.?

Hi Daniele,

The standard log out time is set to 48 hours, but this can be customized for each customer, upon their request.

Hello, where do we go in Control to customize this for each customer? Thank you.

Hi @jennyweigle,

You can submit a support ticket to support@gainsight.com or at https://support.gainsight.com/cc and our support team will make this change for your community.

At the moment, changing this setting is not possible on Control however, rest assured that we're actively working on more self-service functionalities such as this one.
