We had one of our more active community members ask if there is a way they can filter search results by date / recency.  (Front end, not moderation).

Is it possible for us to configure this or what would you advise?

Hi @JKelley

Right now those are not options we have available. But I agree they are very relevant and worthwhile.

There is an idea here that you can vote and add your voice to.

Sorry I do not have a better answer right now.

Thanks @Alistair FIeld, I assumed that might be the case but wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something.  I’ll chime in on the idea. We recently launched Coveo integrated with our Docs site and it allows for filtering, but it helps if we don’t have to take community users out of the community experiece.

@JKelley

I was a Customer Success Architect for Coveo prior to moving to inSided 6 months ago, so I know very well the capability of which you speak. 😉

@Alistair FIeld that is such a funny coincidence. We just implemented Coveo about 6 months ago - I’m sure it would be fun for @dandre and @mstruening or leads on the integration to compare notes some time.  And thanks for the quick help here!

Hey @Kenneth R , I know this hasn't been implemented but is there perhaps parameters that we could add in the URL to order search results by date? Something like “date=desc”?

Hey @jvdc - I’m afraid sorting by date isn’t doable via query parameters either.
