Is there a way to change the display sequence of articles in Community?

We would like to be able to manually determine the sequence that articles appear in their categories. I don’t see any way to do it, and the default appears to be random; it’s not based on created date or last edited date.

Has anyone been able to create their own sequence?

@JayS Ahhh it seems you are looking at the pre-defined Articles page found at

https://{your domain}.insided.com/article/overview

under the Content module

where you edit the order is under the platform module

Platform > Knowledge Base > {select the category} > Order Topics

The url is something like https://{your domain}.insided.com/platform/knowledge-base/edit?id={categoryId}&categorySectionType=category

Knowledge Base or Community categories?

KB has the ability to drag and drop the order when you’re in the back end control.

I haven’t used it in a few years, but I believe the default was to put new articles at the bottom of the category it was created under.

Thank you @DannyPancratz. I’m looking at a Knowledge Base category. When I’m in the control side I don’t see the ability to drag and drop. This is what I’m seeing:

That changes the order on the Front End, which is what I assuem you're asking about.

The Articles view can be sorted by Publish Date or Last Edited columns or filtered by category. It can’t have the order changed to reflect the front end order you set with the drag and drop.
