Lots of "Users Awaiting E-mail Confirmation" lately -> How do I make sure that Activation Mails are being sent out?

Hi there Community or DH Team,
it seems like 50% of the users that signed up in the last two weeks still have the primary role “Users Awaiting E-mail Confirmation”. Before that, the ratio was about 10% of our user Base.

Is it just us or is anyone facing the same problem? Could that be a technical issue that the emails are not being sent out? Or are they increasingly being recognized as Spam?

 

 

Bonus Question: Since we already had quite a few users that did not verify their email address for whatever reason, I think that’s quite a pity. I would like to bring this interesting discussion back to life:

Hey @Daniele Cmty, I just corrected the typo in your title.

 

For this issue, we’re currently investigating it as we had a few more reports about this same thing. There's a high priority ticket in place and our engineering team is already investigating this. We will keep you posted on the ticket and once this is resolved, I’ll post here as well.

For this issue, we’re currently investigating it as we had a few more reports about this same thing. There's a high priority ticket in place and our engineering team is already investigating this. We will keep you posted on the ticket and once this is resolved, I’ll post here as well.

Yup, I suspected it’s a bug and I submitted a ticket the other day, Ravi is on it.

@Daniele Cmty ​@leo-inspired is this a bug? Or another technical issue? We are experiencing this and looking for the proper solution

@tbrittian at this point I would suggest you to contact support so they can have a look at your account in detail.

We are not facing an unnaturally high number of “Users Awaiting E-mail Confirmation” right now.
