This is a stretch but is anyone measuring sentiment in their community? If you are, how are you doing it?

We have a team of social listeners who copy and paste every post we get from community into Salesforce and mark it as positive, neutral and negative. It’s a lot of work and we’re looking to automate here and there. Any insight would be very helpful!

@baraica This is a REALLY great question that needs an answer! My suggestion is to put this ask out on LinkedIn and tag #community to get a lot of great minds on it. If you’re not actively on LI (or just don’t want to), let me know and I’m happy to get it in front of my network. I think there could be a great conversation around this!

Hi @JeniA thanks for your response. That would be amazing if you could get it out to your network, unfortunately I don’t have many community professionals in my network on there so I don’t think the reach would be great. I am trying to grow it though and I’d love to connect on LinkedIn too!

We have built an AI tool that downloads community discussions via API and sends weekly reports to us via email.
The AI analyzes the content in several ways, including tone of voice and sentiment. Super easy and handy.

This is awesome! Which API tool are you using?
