New phrases in profile settings - how to get info in advance? (translation related question)
Hi all,
I just discovered by chance that new phrases have been added to the profile settings:
Spontaneously, I cannot find info in the Gainsight community about it. Is there any communication about it? In general, are newly added phrases communicated somehow?
I am asking because it would be helpful to know about new phrases in advance to be able to translate them as soon as possible.
Thanks!

Thanks revote.
There's no problem with translating phrases here. I just wanted to know if there's a way to find out when and which phrases will be added, rather than discovering them by chance or being informed by eagle-eyed users.
Would be also helpful to know them to be able to quickly adapt articles/screenshots where the new phrases appear.
Gotcha!
They dont tell / explain enhancements beforehand. And it is sad.
Gainsight tell you when they build (totally) new feature, but improvements to the old ones, usually they just appears and boom - we have to find out whats going on.

Edit: I think and hope that this improvement is related with the upcoming Notification Center?
Interesting! Thanks for sharing!
I agree that a way to learn about new phrases is needed to avoid things like this. (cc: @Kenneth R )
I took a look at this announcement of the notification center:
… and it seems like these new options have been added since.
I believe it’s actually related to a question thread (I can’t find it) where we were discussing how the email notifications were not quite what we thought. Someone from GS replied in the last month or two that they were working on improving it, and this seems to be the fix. ( @revote I think you’re on that thread / maybe started it?)
The first option you’re seeing as a new phrase is how reply notifications have historically have worked.
The second option is what many of us in that thread assumed about how reply notifications did work (but did not).
It looks like the fix is giving users the choice to opt-in to notifications about everything.

Oh, I cant remember. I didnt remember that article you shared either! Topic sounds familiar...
I remember reading the topic/thread a while ago but cannot find it either I should have bookmarked it.
I think releasing something after 8 months isnt good. Also, they planned to release something different what they actually released.
Yes, this new notification is small thing and I dont mean that. It is matter of principle
Original question thread:
Idea with update that they’re working on it:
Hey folks, thank you for flagging this one. It looks like we missed the default localised translations of these phrases. I’ve raised it with our Product team - they are going to rectify it. I’ve also passed on your feedback and sentiment about our release communication.
I think that the Phrases Overview page needs to be significantly updated.
All phrases should be able to be found here….whether they have been updated or not. At the moment we are just given a subset.
Something to identify where the phrase is located would be really useful. At the very least, a URL to the page/type of page that it sits on would help. Maybe even a popup which loads the page into it when you hover over the phrase.
All pages should be available to be viewed as an admin with access to the “phrases” switch should be enabled. It took me a LONG time to figure out how to alter phrases on login and some error pages.
I totally agree with @rhall - an update to Phrases Overview is much needed!
