Question

New vs old dashboard data discrepancy

I’ve been working on my monthly reporting for July and in testing the new vs old dashboards, I’m noticing some different numbers for the same data points in the same date range. Is that expected? Are others seeing this?

Hey @SimonH

Thanks for flagging this. I have raised this internally, and will let you know as soon as I have an update! 😊

Hi

Yes, slight differences are expected between the old and new dashboards as they rely on different underlying data sources. However, those differences should generally be very minor. If you can share a few more details on what you're seeing, that would be super helpful—and if there’s a particular issue you’d like us to investigate, please raise a support ticket so our team can take a closer look.

Hi @Aleksandra,

Thanks for your response!

The differences seem to average about a 2% discrepancy, with the new dashboards being lower. I know that sounds very minor, but some documentation explaining what’s going on would be very helpful to help us explain to our managers why we’re seeing a decline.

I didn’t do an exhaustive comparison, but I noticed it in several. I saw it in the numbers of topics/posts/replies, for instance.

I notice something similar, but as it's minor I just accept it to be honest and management also does not notice it / bugs me about it.
