Overlapping Featured Topics widget items on Mobile

@Marion Frecaut I’ve noticed that on mobile there seems to have been a change made on the CSS of Featured Topics content as they now seem to have a strange overlapping look:

At first I thought maybe I’d finally made too many custom CSS edits but when I saw the same thing on InSpired, I guess thats not what happened…

Looking at the CSS it seems that the class:
.featured-topics .featured-topic
has the width set to 50% instead of 100%

This could be why or what happened, not sure if it impacts anything else, I’ll leave that to you guys!

Hope this helps!

Also might be worth noting that the Overview page has no left margin on smaller screen sizes, just like the Knowledge base. Ideas on the other hand seems to have 16px of margin added on each side...

We’re not seeing this on our featured_home topics.

@timcavey indeed! Wonder how you were spared? I did not check much further than our own community and InSpired tbh.

I can verify this issue on inSpired, O2 Germany, and Product Makers as reported. I am also seeing some similar weird behaviours on OVO, Boost, Sonos, Zapier, Gainsight and Docebo using Oshawott. It’s not just you.

@olimarrio probably not the most urgent as only on mobile but still worth looking into, if Marion I’d mentioned earlier did not look into it.

Hi @SmartlyGreg  ,

Thanks for tagging me and letting me know, @Marion Frecaut is on holiday this week.

The good news is, we already have an open bug ticket that is being worked on to resolve these responsive display errors.

I will update you all here once this has been resolved.

Hi @SmartlyGreg please could you send a screenshot/video of what you’re seeing.

From what I can see the featured topics are appearing as expected in the carousel design on mobile view:

Let me know your issue and I’ll be happy to help

I see it like in my original question still and exactly the same with InSpired community on my iPhone in Safari. TBH chrome devtools in mobile mode shows the same too on Mac.
