I want to control the order of my articles in my knowledge base categories so they are ordered in a logical way top to bottom. I think the way to do this is to edit the category and use the Topic Order feature for pinned topics. But when I click to pin a topic(s) they move into that section fine, but once I hit save the screen refreshes and they are no longer saved as pinned. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi @adamsr - thanks for raising this.  I believe you’ve just helped us identify a UX niggle in a quite new feature, as we recently made changes to how ordering topics works.  I’m fairly sure I see what’s happening for you.  You’re right that the steps to change the order is to pin them and then re-order them.  Once you’ve done that, though, the tricky thing is that there are two ‘save’ buttons.  On the top right, there remains the ‘Save changes’ button.  If you click that, your changes are lost.  At the bottom of the screen, though, there is also a ‘Save order’ button, which is the one that you need to click to save the ordering you’ve just done.  I’m going to raise this with our Product folks as I’m sure others will run into this too.

Hi @Kenneth R ah yes that is it! Thanks so much I see the ‘Save order’ button now and that works as expected. Don’t know why I didn’t notice that before I guess I was just drawn to the more visible ‘Save changes’ button at the top. Thanks, Rich.
