Posting product updates on community - moderator seats

We would like to get our product managers posting product updates on community. We have lots of product managers, and giving each one a moderator seat to post a product announcement is expensive.

Has anyone had success with using community for product updates, with a large volume of product managers needing access, and let me know if you have any workarounds, for example, an automated feed of product announcements to community.
