I just noticed that we dont have Public tags any more in Control. We have had pre defined tags in use but for some reason they are gone. We havent deleted them ourselves.

 

They can be seen in the topics, if they are added before. If I want to add tags, same we used before, it suggest them as a new tag (Add new tag)

Is this (common) bug, should I create a ticket to support?

Okay. This is something else, because when I am starting to add tags to the post, it will add them as a totally new tag.


We havent done anything but now Tags can be seen in Control and I can add them to topics normally.

Strange.


@revote I think a change has been pushed. I noticed this morning that HTML I have in some of my category description sections has been converted to text. I have been able to quickly resolve this with some javascript, but I am certain that this worked when I set it up originally. Otherwise, I have missed this for the last year 🤣 This *may* coincide with what you are seeing.

I’ve double checked on our instance and I can view it, although there was that ‘no public tag’ appearing for a split second.

I am having this same issue in my community. We can see tags on older posts but in Control, it says we have no public tags. We have been building our tag library for the past 12 months so it is surpising to see this:

And since we don’t allow our users to add new tags, having a library of public tags is important to us.


I’m having the same issue. All tags are gone. No bueno ☹️


I also just went through the process to add a public tag. I got a message that it had been added yet, the page once refreshed says we have no public tags.
