Real talk: how I've been using the Claude Connector for CC

Okay, kicking off this thread because I keep saying "oh, Claude does that for me now" in random Slack messages or to my Gainsight CSM and figured I'd just write it all down in one place instead of repeating myself, plus I get to share it with all of you!

If you've got the Claude Connector turned on, here's what's been living rent-free in my workflow lately.

📢 Disclaimer: I am in no shape way or form a guru at Claude. I’m still very much learning every single day and practicing.

  1. My "living" dashboards mean I stop rebuilding the same report every week I got tired of manually pulling the same numbers every week/month. Now I've got a Community Engagement Dashboard. No rebuilding, no re-pulling exports. It helps me stay on top of our KPIs. Genuinely one of the bigger time-savers on this list.
  2. My monthly leadership update basically writes itself now It pulls last month's community stats, formats them slide-deck-ready with month-over-month growth, and drops them straight to my boss. What used to eat a whole afternoon is now "yep, that's done, next."
  3. Title suggestions that actually match our style guide Whether it's a member post that needs a clearer title or an employee writing a product update, I've got it checking against our Community Style Guide for compliance, clarity, and searchability before anything goes live. Small thing, but it adds up fast at our size.
  4. Ideation Product Management Leaderboard So this one is pretty fun...everyone likes a little competition right? To keep the Product Management team locked in with ideation SLAs, I’ve created an artifact that provides me with a time range and the ideation shipped over that course of time by Product Manager. It builds up some friendly competition as who doesn’t like taking home the trophy? Bonus with this one - our customers come out winning as we ship more enhancements everyday.
  5. Keeping a pulse on the quiet signals Pulling sentiment data alongside release feedback so I can actually see how a launch is landing with the community, not just eyeballing the comment counts and hoping that tells the whole story.

A few things I've picked up if you want to try this yourself:

  • Dashboards are worth setting up if it's something you'll check more than once. If it's a one-off question, just ask it directly and move on.
  • It's honestly best at the tasks I'd otherwise procrastinate on, de-escalation replies, status updates, that kind of thing. That's where I've clawed back the most actual hours.

What are other Gainsight Community Admins using it for? Drop your own, always looking for ideas. 🤓

Love it. Thanks for sharing. Do you mind sharing more on how you are detecting sentiment? I have found that the limited amount of data being pulled from the forum content (Post Title, small conversation sample, small overall sample size - 50 threads) seems limited.
