Hi! We have so many people with the same usernames and it makes it difficult to automate some of our bulk actions. Is there a setting or some way we can block users from creating a username that already exists, ignoring uppercase/lowercase?
Hmm… That shouldn’t be possible anyway - I own all the variations of blastoise186 on this community by just having this one account - so no-one can register Blastoise186, blastoise186, BLASTOISE186, BLastoise186 or any other upper/lower caps variant because the system will consider them to clash with the existing username for my account. The system already blocks any attempt to do so and will just tell the new user to pick something else.
If it’s not doing that for you, there might be a bug somewhere, so you’ll probably want to have Support take a look at your instance.
Agreed. That shouldn’t be possible.

Here’s what we’re dealing with for example, and this is not even close to some of the bad ones. And they’re all different people with different emails attached to them. I don’t know where to start to even tackle this. I’ll reach out to support. Thank you guys!
ps. please look past the fact that I misspelled identical.
