Hi, we are currently use SSO (both SAML and openid connect) for 2 types of end-users.

Is it also possible to configure SSO to point to our IDP for the admin/backend/control users?

Hi @ruc 👋,

Yes it’s currently possible to set up SSO to access Control via SAML and Google Apps.

I’ll raise a support ticket with you cc’d so that we can enable the set up for you.

Thanks @olimarrio, will this be SAML to our own IDP? And can it be independent to  the SAML + IDP setup we have for our end users? i.e. our end users and backend admins/mods are located in 2 different IDPs

@ruc yes you’ll be able to set this up to a separate IdP, independent from what your end users are signing in with 👍

Hi @olimarrio !

I just wanted to jump in and tell that we’re doing the same thing in our community. I wanted to ask whether there’s any documentation on doing the SAML integration for Control users?

Hi @Suvi Lehtovaara 👋,

Here is the additional documentation you are looking for regarding the backend/Control SSO integration:

Gainsight SSO is simply a Gainsight platform-level SSO that requires no action on your part - this is an SSO that allows you to move between different Gainsight products without having to log in separately to each product. Even though you are only a CC customer we need to set this up in order to enable SSO access for Control users. I’d recommend speaking to @Nadia Nicolai alongside our Support team to get this set up on your community.
