A question from our superuser:
On the community homepage, one can see to total amount of topics in a particular category. Theres the amount of new in brackets.
What is the defition of new here? It doesn’t seem to be new posts since last visit, but rather perhaps topics?

I’ve been testing this and the numbers don’t add up. For example now there’s one category in our community where I see
But in reality there’s 5 unread topics and several unread messages:
