Have you tried to save reports in Gainsight CE’s analytics and only received your report with 5000 rows? I have a hack for you! 🔓 There is a way to bypass that 5,000-row limit.

Instead of downloading from the three vertical dots aligned with the filters (also, see images to follow along)….

  1. Click on the three vertical dots aligned with the header names in the actual report (these dots will appear if you hover over any part of the header row).
  2. Choose 'Download data' and change the format to CSV (or your format of preference).
  3. Click on 'Advanced data options' and select 'All results' under the 'Number of rows to include.'
  4. Finally, click 'Download.' !!!

This is a great tip, I can’t imagine a scenario where I would ever want a data download of just exactly the first 5000 rows.

Shouldn’t “All Results” be the default?

Good question @daniel.truman

Our dashboards are originated and help in another platform, and this is how their functionality is presented within CE, with 5000 being their maximum default.

Thanks @cdonargo  . For a report like “Course Completion” I’m only able to download 5000 rows and I don’t have an option for All Results. There’s also no date filters or any way to reduce the results significantly to get accurate data.

Do you know of a way to download all of the results?
