Access/Authentication token capturing

Hi Team,

Could you please check and confirm if Gainsight (CS) currently supports, or if there are any plans to support, capturing the access/authentication token created by hitting an API (outside Gainsight)?

Use case: We are currently planning to move all our customer onboarding to a digital process, where we provide them with the service details they have purchased or have access to. This email also contains a link that users can use to set or reset their access, which has a limited lifetime.

The link needs to be created by hitting a corresponding platform security process to generate a token, and then using the token to generate the required link. Since we did not find the option to do this directly in Gainsight, we are using an intermediate system that can access the security system and is connected to Gainsight.

We proceeded to implement this with a very small set of clients who purchased basic services. Since the token has a limited lifetime, we are facing issues as the details need to be synced to Gainsight, which further reduces the link's validity period.

It would be great if we had the ability in Gainsight itself to access the required external system, capture the response, and process it to generate the link. This would help us send access-related links with a longer validity period, and Gainsight would be considered a great platform for the digital onboarding process.
