Not for folks just getting started. Not a walkthrough of the basics. On May 26th, the day before the Pulse conference, we’re hosting a full day designed for Admins who already know their way around Gainsight and are ready to go deeper.

Gainsight Admin 200: Advanced Series is hands-on, peer-driven, and packed with the kind of content that actually moves the needle on how you build, troubleshoot, and scale your instance.

Here's what's on the agenda:

The day kicks off with a troubleshooting deep dive led by Admin guest speaker ​@Keith Mattes — practical tips and real techniques, followed by a hands-on session where you'll actually diagnose and resolve issues in a demo environment. Fair warning: there will be twists.

Then we get into the build work. Guest speaker ​@bradley breaks down rule design patterns that make your Rules, Data Designer, and JO queries easier to manage and scale. If you've ever inherited a config that nobody can explain, this one's for you.

Next, ​@michael_obrien walks through how he's used Cockpit, Surveys, and Journey Orchestrator to scale EBR insight collection and drive internal alignment across the org.

After lunch, buckle up for a two-hour hands-on API lab with ​@benwanless — you'll build a working integration that fires structured Slack messages from CTA events, then extend it into an automated Risk CTA → Slack collaboration channel workflow. You'll leave with reusable patterns you can actually implement.

Rounding out the afternoon, ​@jenniferpa covers on-demand email campaigns — specifically how to empower your CSMs to drop contacts into targeted JO programs at exactly the right moment.

The day closes with the Admin Idea Exchange: bring your thorniest config challenge, throw it to the room, and tap into the collective brain of some of the most experienced Gainsight Admins around. This part tends to be everyone's favorite.
