Co-authoring Meeting Notes in Gainsight: Native Feature or Third-Party Tool Integration?

Is there a way for both CSMs and TAMs to co-author meeting notes in Gainsight during customer meetings, similar to how it's done in Google Docs or Microsoft OneNote? If not, are there plans to introduce this feature in the future? Additionally, are there any third-party tools that can be integrated or explored for this functionality?

Hi Dhayananth, and welcome to the community.

At this point, Gainsight CS Activity Timeline entries are only editable by the entry’s Author, which blocks co-authoring. (There’s an allowance for Gainsight CS admins to delete Timeline entries which they did not author, but not to edit them.)

Even entries created via integrations like Gong have this limitation; they can only be edited by the designated Author. Even if there was a third-party tool integration, there will still be a Gainsight User designated as the Author, and only that Gainsight User will be able to make edits.

As I’m not a Gainsight employee, but am a long-time CS admin, I cannot speak well to if or where this functionality might sit on the Gainsight CS Roadmap.
