Company Search
"The search function is designed to return all records that satisfy the entered character sequence. Short inputs commonly match many records, so the search may appear to return 'too many' results even though it is functioning as intended. The more characters you add to the global search, the more accurate the results will be."
While we understand this is the current design, it does not fully address the usability concern. The purpose of the search function is to help CSMs find the required company quickly and efficiently. Returning a large number of related records makes the process more time-consuming and less user-friendly.
If there is any way to improve the search behavior such as prioritizing exact company name matches, reducing unrelated results, or providing more relevant filtering it would significantly improve the user experience and make the search function more effective.
