  1. If I switch from Sync Leads to Sync Opps in production, will the previous CSQLs historical data be deleted ?
  2. What happens to the CSQLs that have been created after switching sync option ?

Hi @gabrielaarenas

Considering they are two different objects (GS Lead and GS Opportunities), I would say the leads will remain in the GS Lead object without being impacted by your switch to GS Opportunities.

However, that object (GS Opportunities) will need to be cleared before you can switch - if you have any data in it, that will need to go.

Now, if you’re syncing all of that to SFDC, you’ll need to reconfigure the jobs. And the question would then be: would leads continue to sync back to Gainsight with whatever updates made to them in SFDC AFTER you have made the switch. I don’t have the answer to that.

Hope this somewhat helps.

The most expensive part of building is the mistakes. That's true in construction. Not so much in CSOps. So ask questions, make mistakes and learn. All views expressed here are my own.

I would not suggest trusting that the leads will remain. I suggest making a backup MDA object and pushing your lead data over. Then when you switch and data is deleted, it won’t matter.
