Hi Community, is there any option on CTA’s to give a Time to Live Clock, and if the CTA is not closed in a number of days, months - it would automatically be closed as invalid? If not what workarounds can be implemented to recreate this?

Not directly on the CTA, but this could be set up as automation within Rules Engine & scheduled to periodically run.

Essentially - Look for CTAs that were created ___ days ago and are still open. You can also filter for specific types, only those with all tasks closed, etc. to fit your specific needs. From there, use an Update CTA action and change to closed.

@mobrien14 yes, familiar with that work around. We are looking for a bit more from the product that we could build into it from the get go. For example, giving a time to live would give the Days until due date some meaning. Yes we could write a rule to coincide with Due date but we would prefer ot to burden our rules engine with this as it becomes unscalable. We would like something more from the product itself.

Another CTA enhancement might be to improve the uniqueness criteria. We would like name to extend beyond 80 characters and for that criteria to also consider admin defined criteria that would extend beyond Company or Relationship name. Perhaps unique identifiers related to those fields. @upendra_damacherla What say you?
