Can you confirm that the definition of opened emails in the Journey Orchestrator analytics are those that are physically opened?
I can view emails in the Outlook app without tapping on it and opening to a new tab. Would this be classed as opened?

I’m pretty sure a JO open is just a reflection of the open events that are handed back to Gainsight from Sendgrid, the email service that does the actual sending. Their definition of the open is: “Open Tracking adds an invisible, one pixel image at the end of the email which can track email opens. If the email recipient has images enabled on their email client and a request to SendGrid’s server for the invisible image is executed, then an open event is logged.”
In that case, the click is not significant unless the click is required to get that ‘open pixel’ to render. If you can view the entire email including images without clicking, then it looks like that would count as an open.
