This seems like a problem. Thousands of records failed, yet the job status shows it completed successfully.

I have also noticed this - seems like we need some sort of 'partial failure' like rules engine.
Agreed. A failure of any kind (ANYwhere in Gainsight) is a failure and I should be alerted to it.
